Contest Alert: Travel Anywhere in The World With Lufthansa!
In my four years of traveling, I’ve met a lot of people, made some friends, lost some too and said many goodbyes. Making unexpected connections with people I meet in remote corners of the world is at the same time, blissful and heartbreaking. Deep within, I know that no matter what, my itchy feet will keep me moving.
So when Lufthansa announced their Diwali contest, it immediately struck a chord with me. It’s the perfect excuse to reconnect with friends in another part of the world, with a chance to win flight tickets to go see them or have them come visit you!
What do you win?
9 lucky winners will win pairs of return flight tickets to any country connected by the Lufthansa network! That means you could be going to see friends / family anywhere from Southeast Asia to South America, and they could be coming to see you. How’s that for an excuse to get back in touch with everyone we’ve met on our travels?
As part of this contest, Lufthansa has also partnered with Help Alliance to support their projects in India, and promised to create a digital marvel of a constantly illuminating plane.
How to enter the contest?
Forget conventional greetings this Diwali, and log on to Lufthansa Diwali Surprise to send a “Diwali wish” to your friends and family anywhere in India or the world. You can send as many wishes as you like.
Each wish will generate a unique code, and you must enter it into a lucky draw between November 4-11. To be eligible to win, atleast one of the recipients of your wishes must also enter their unique code into the lucky draw.
That’s it. If you win, both you and the recipient of your wish win a return flight ticket each.
Things to remember
- The contest ends on 11th November 2015. Don’t wait till the last minute!
- The contest is open to residents of all countries except Brazil, Canada, Hong Kong, Italy and the US. You can still send your wishes to friends in these countries, and if you win, you can claim both the tickets.

Hello, Shivya I’ve just recently read about your profile and background in newspaper telling your tour on various places.
In hindi i’m more comfortable to say. Me aapse bhut inspire hua…or mera bhi ek dream h ki m bhi ek baar puri duniya ghumna chahta hu, different – diffrent people se milna chahta hu…..peddl hi pgdndi, phaad, junglo me chlna or campus type jesa kuch din bitaana chata hu…..mujhe ek jgh rhna ni psnd h…. yha bhi m kbhi kbhi pass ki phadiyon pr chla jaata hu ….but its not enough i wanna see more and wanna discover the world too…
But i dont know how too start…since i belong to rural area too…..its quite difficult to gain such dreams…..pr thoda or bda hoke me try jarur krunga……
