Reflections on Lake Garda.
Time stands still. I gaze at the colors of the lake. The waters are transparent, but they reflect the green of the marine life beneath and the blue of the sky above. The combination forms the shades of an artist’s palette.
The sun slowly starts sinking behind the mountains. Their snow capped peaks glow just a little. The sky changes from blue to pink and orange. The ball of yellow is now the moon. Full, round, glowing. Its reflection upon the lake keeps my eyes glued. My mind still wanders. Could there be more to life than such raw beauty?
Hi there! I’m Shivya, and I started this travel blog back in 2011, when travel wasn’t trendy, Instagram didn’t exist and AI wasn’t a thing (simpler times, I know!). I write about slow, meaningful and conscious travel – that is good for us, the places we visit, the people we meet along the way, and the planet at large. Settle down, grab a cup of tea, and read stories that remind you of the essence of travel. I’m so glad you found me!

Looks like you stared at the lake for too long :P.
Nice pics btw.
Couldn’t take my eyes off it 😉
very good comment about the combination of colours above and under the water.
thanks 🙂
Wonderful description, very poetic. I can’t help but notice the pattern of the white cloud that shaped like a letter A or a pyramid. Awesome!
woohooo Shivya..you are in Europe, amazing, just read your posts 🙂
Good to see you here again Vishesh 🙂 Hope you enjoyed the virtual journeys!
